NOT SO CLUELESS ANY MORE

Cher Horowitz - the envy of every 90's girl. Who wouldn't want a personalised computer to tell you what you should (and more importantly, shouldn't) wear? The idea of a virtual closet is one that has been around since the 1995 Clueless film was produced, however it has always been just that little bit too far off from reality... Until now.

With tartan (or plaid if you're American) cropping up everywhere at the moment and with Iggy Azalea's music video for Fancy based on the film, it seems like the Clueless trend intends to stick around.

There is something comforting about seeing these 90's prints and styles back on the high street and I feel like I can finally bring back out the accessories I wore as a 6 year old and couldn't bear to get rid of (hello hundreds of multicoloured choker necklaces).

However, the struggle of deciding what to wear is still very real (fist world fashion student problems over here). I would say I spend at least 3 hours a week thinking about what I'm going to wear and which shoes will go with what and if I can get away with wearing that skirt to work... But no need to panic! There is now a Clueless-inspired website that can help us all and it is quick, easy AND FREE.

Metail is an online shopping site that not only lets you browse from lots of different retailers, but also lets you try on the clothes. No, you didn't hear me wrong. You can TRY THEM ON. Online. For real.
By inputting your measurements, the site creates a virtual model who is accurate to your size, meaning you can see what the clothes will actually look like on your body type rather than on a 5'11" leggy size 8. Pretty cool huh? Although the site doesn't have as many retailers as we would like at the moment, being featured on vogue.co.uk and receiving a lot of good press, it's only a matter of time... Watch this space!
